THIS IS AN ESTIMATE, NOT A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES.

The summary above is furnished by Hearth & Fireplace Creations as a good faith estimate of work to be performed at the location described above and is based on our evaluation and does not include material price increases or additional labor and materials which may be required should unforeseen problems arise after the work has started. Venting above the included amount is invoiced on a per-foot basis at the rates below. Actual quantities to be determined at Installation. I understand that the final cost of the work may differ from the estimate, perhaps materially. THIS IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF THE FINAL PRICE OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED. I agree and authorize the work as summarized on these estimated terms, and I agree to pay the full amount for all work performed.

Important Considerations

1. By accepting this quote, you understand that Hearth & Fireplace Creations will not install any product that does not meet the manufacturer’s specifications outlined in the installation manual for that product. You also understand that it is your responsibility as the buyer to ensure your installation environment meets those guidelines prior to the scheduled install.
2. Hearth & Fireplace Creations does not provided electrical or gas contracting services including service hookup. You must source these services separately.
3. All wood-burning fireplaces will require a chase to be installed on the roof and enough venting to meet the industry standard 10:2 rule, the top of the flu must be 2′ higher than anything within 10′. Chase cover quotes will only be provided if requested. Chase covers will be invoiced separately.
4. It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure safe access is provided to all working locations, which in some cases may require additional scaffolding and/or lift. Our installers will not enter onto a steel roof to complete installation without safe access.
5. 75% payment is due upon estimate approval. Remaining payment and any additional costs will be invoiced and due immediately following the fireplace installation. Fireplace trim-out and/or chase cover measurement will not take place unless the project is paid in full.

Travel Fees

A travel fee of $150 applies for travel distances between 75 and 100 miles. For travel distances over 100 miles, the fee increases to $250. Please contact us for a custom quote if you have specific location details or additional travel requirements.
